Tananananaaaaaaaa, introducing the YES fund for unemployed ghanaian youth but at the same time; Some employed youth have worked two years and still counting in the various government institutions but have not been put on payrole because an embrago with excuse of no money available to pay them still exists Nurses and other civil servants havent received their allowances NHIS debts have to been paid to hospitals and phaemaceutical company to ensure smooth running of the process Hospital supplies are out of stock, healthworkers are at risk POTAG and UTAG strike still ongoing Certain enterprising youth have not been paid for work done and good supplied to government institutions with their bankers chasing them all the way to court So the working youth are being cheated and let down whiles the unemployed ones now have a YES fund to collect monies from. With this economic crises now, even long standing businesses are facing bankrupty and challenges because purchasing power of the people is low, so how well can these new budding enterprenuers fare with the continuous depreciation of the cedi. Companies have laid off lots of youth because profit margin is low and they cant afford to pay all of them. I think the YES fund is a good initiative at the wrong time. Please I hope the BETTER GHANA AGENDA have not been put on hold to pursue SMART WAYS TO WIN ELECTION AGENDA. Our leaders, please prioritize and lets all support the government with whatever we can to make things work so this hardship becomes shortlived.
