Ok so a bit behind the loop on this one - only just catching up on Cereal killer cafe-gate, but I think its a bit unfair to single them out and have a go at them for charging too much in such a poor area. Yes its on the edge of Tower Hamlets which is one of the most deprived areas in London, but we cant pretend that Brick Lane and nearby Shoreditch hasnt become extremely gentrified. The area is full of over priced bars and eateries, and there is also a huge amount of wealth around there now. The owner does seem a bit of an idiot though.
