Ok, so after my consultation at the Center for Pain Management, they decided that the issue was more in my SI joint rather than the back (same opinion as the first orthopaedist and not the second). They injected numbing agent and steroids directly into my SI joint (ouch). Numbing agent supposed to last several hours started wearing off after 40 minutes and my ride home in the car was just as painful as it always is. If the steroids are going to work on the severe inflammation, I will know within 3 to 14 days. Good news is I can go back to pain medication regimen. So as of right now, I know nothing more than I did this morning. Same pain, back on meds, waiting for something good to happen. Hope with me everyone, maybe it will work.
