Ok so here it goes.. I have been brainstorming for quite some time how I can help the community, Ive thought long and hard about what would be beneficial to everyone, not just a certain circle or age group. Heres what Ive come up with. Starting SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 21st starting at NOON and taking my last walk-in at 4 I will be doing a FREE HAIRCUT DAY!!! This day is for people who are low income or people having a hard time making ends meet and just cannot afford a luxury like a good haircut. The address to my salon is 3520 Beaver Ave-The salon name is Guys and Dolls Its one block south of Euclid/Douglas on Beaver, its on the right side of the road above the mexican restaurant. This will be walk-in only so as soon as you arrive please come to the front desk so I can get you on my list. I will go down the list on a first come/first served basis so please give me your name and contact phone #. All I ask is that you come with clean hair, doesnt matter if its wet or dry and make sure to check school age children for lice before you come. Lice absolutely love clean hair and from what I understand they do not send children home from school for this any longer. Also please do not bring children who do not do well with haircuts. I do not want to be in rush whatsoever when cutting scared childrens hair, it will not be beneficial for any of us. I plan to do this one Sunday every other month at this time but if I get a big turnout as I expect I am willing to hold this every month :-) If anyone would like to volunteer to come in and help me put people on the list and locate who is next on the list as I get close to them that would be great! I know I already had interest from Amy Blackford and Angel Rush but I am sure I will need others. Thanks everyone for supporting my career and being such loyal, loving people!
