Ok... so hitched a nice ride from Macedonia to Greece and lost it at the border when customs would not let me in. Stuck in no-mans land between countries and two days aways from a concert near Athens....i stopped took a breath. and decided to just go back and ask again. no expectations just a document that says i can enter greece for three months regardless of time spent in other shengin countries (thank you NZ Visa Waver agreement) problem is oftern the people on the border are not even aware of this agreement and can aparently choose to believe you or not. Anyway....i just asked him to look again. and eventually he said ok i believe you and sorry that he wasn;t aware of this, he coppied my documents and STAMPED ME!! I was so so close to being denied. im so glad people are willing to change their minds. now im in greece. slept in a tent in a park last night, crowded train ride and rain, now in Thessaloniki, making way for Athens tomorrow. All is good!
