Ok, so its been forever since my last post, i know i promised some of you back home in Washington that i would try to give you updates on facebook if i could force myself to actually use the darned thing on my computer.......SURPRISE!!!!!!!! My first update to facebook since leaving Colville, Wa in February: I moved into an apartment with my two friends from Colville,Wa, John Materne and his brother Joe Materne in February, 2014. I applied at Best Buy across the highway, was rejected, i cant think of any reason and was not told why, especially after having 4 years retail experience at the same job. I then applied at Menards, a local hardware and general retail store and was hired before i could finish speaking, i have been working there since about April, while working there i started having problems with standing and walking due to my left ankle continually seizing up after and during work, after much debate i visited the local hospital in hopes of finding out what was going on. I was recommended to prestigious foot and ankle specialist and began visiting him for tests, he focused first on the difference in movement between my left and right ankle finding that my left ankle had at the time only 1/4 of the movement range of my right ankle. he gave me an xray and was unable to see anything on it, the same for a CT scan i had afterward, during this time i continued to work at Menards using a full hard cast and a cane to assist me in standing and walking, My managers moved me to a in store team called P.O.G. (Plan - O - Gram) after i volunteered and i began setting floor plans in the store starting at 5:30am and ending at 2pm, i continued this way for a couple months until i was approved for an MRI, after examining the MRI images my doctor told me i have a complete soft tissue coalition in my ankle and foot, this means that all the soft tissue in my ankle and foot is fusing together or already fused together, and every time the bone moves, it tears muscle and soft tissue. By this time i now have 1/8th the movement range in my left ankle as in my right. I am now scheduled for surgery on the 15th of September where they will attempt to remove the cartilage from between my ankle bones and bolt them together forcing a complete bone fusion so my ankle will no longer move, they are unable to tell me what caused this in the first place. I continue to work at Menards today where i also made a good friend Maria Reinbold, and through her also met my other good friend Marcie Reinbold. That makes 2 friends from ND :) pretty good work for me as far as im concerned. The drivers here should never have been given a license, the traffic light designers should never have been given a permit, and the city does not have anything terribly entertaining for an antisocial nerd to do except the most awesome theater i have ever visited in my life, The Grand Theater. Currently my phone has died due to the charging port no longer functioning and i must go visit the at&t store after work tomorrow to have them mail me a replacement, so i will be taking a mandatory reprieve from mobile electronic devices for a few days, if you have anything important to say to me message me on FB and i may get to it within a few days as i never use FB on my computer.
