Ok so someone read this and talk to me!!!!!!!!! I just got a phone call from a California number.....the man says hello Latisha I am calling to inform you that you have been one of the 1500 people chosen to receive a Federal Grant of $7,849.00 this grant will be placed on ANY type proxy card you have. ((I told them I dont have a bank account or anything alls I have is a Walmart gift card;) as he said a gift card could be used as well just need a card to transfer the money)) ..So I gave him the gift card number and he gives me a grant approval number asked what Id do with the money I told him It would pay off my student loan..gives me another 209 number to call says who Im about to speak with which I do... This man tells me that because I have paid my taxes, havent filed bankruptcy that I have randomly been chosen for this federal grant along with others. I asked questions how and whats the catch and how do I know this is legit... he said theres a one time fee of $310.00 which will be refunded after the transfer I started laughing and said Is this a joke?? He said maam if you pass this up Im very sorry for you but I can give you a couple hours to borrow the money and call me back.....after the $ 310 is paid youll be transferred $8,159.00 to your Walmart gift card. Any other time or call or bs. I would assume this was a scam but it has me wondering because if anyone is familiar with the new grant programs like the one Obamas getting his ass kissed for, for helping students with their loans Its almost EXACTLY the same call/process. I tried for my student loan to be forgiven and you have to pay them a few hundred bucks first to stop the interest and blah blah blah....and thats an actual government program.
