Ok, so this just happened: I went to cover something related to the Kings Birthday in a park. When I arrived, it turns out its very popular and there is a huge, huge qeue. So I just go there and stand in it. When I finally arrive to the gate, it turns out I need a ticket. I show my press card, but the soldier handling the tix are having none of that. Then some random lady taps my shoulder and hands me a ticket. (Thank you!!! Awesome lady, may you have ridicoulous amounts of fortune and happiness in your life!) So I go in and follow the yellow-clad birthday-goers, while I collect sound and interviews. Along the way I realize my ticket goes for some kind of VIP-deck, which is seperate from the other seats. So here I am, in the fourth front row with all the fancy people. #happybirthday #idontknowhowthishappened #icantleave
