Ok .. some thoughts on the 1st half .. 1st team offense had rhythm and confidence. 10 plays, 73 yards, TD. - OL was VERY GOOD. - RT17 looked VERY GOOD, confident and poised. On target. In rhythm. 6-6, 63 yards, TD. - RECs (Gibson and Matthews) were consistently open. No HorseTeeth, WallASS, or Clay. - Albert and College looked very good on the left side. - JuWan James impressed. - Dallas Thomas played well. - 1st DEF very disappointing. - Phillip Squeeler, 2 missed tackles and a personal foul extending a Falcon Drive - Rashad Jones illegal contact on, I think, another 3rd down play. - DL looked good minus OV50. - Jarvis Landry had a GREAT 49 yard punt return. No break away speed, but showed his quick feet. - Will Davis was impressive. Had blanket coverage down field several times. Got his hands on the ball 4 or 5 times, just didnt come away with it. I dont even hold the PI call against him. It was an aggressive play he was making on the football. - Reserve Jason Fox (LT) and reserve Shelley Smith (LG) were VERY BAD. Fox himself missed 4 blocks that i counted and got popped and driven about 5 yards into the backfield. - also noticed .. The NFL is finally decided to enforce the WR 5 yard past the L of S no contact rule.
