Ok soo momma bragging moment!!! As we were leaving the Logan schools graduation, a young man was standing along the fence towards the exit. Wearing his military apparel. My oldest Makina asked me why he was wearing camouflage, after the shortest explanation I could find to give her, she looked up at me and asked if she could thank him for protecting her like most of the men in our family. I told her that would probably make him smile. So she grabs my hand and make our way over to the young man. Who notices her ear to ear smile approaching him. Immediately he kneels down to her size and shakes her hand and blushes at her giggle. After asking her name etc. He asked why she was such a happy little girl, her words to him, because you protect me like my uncle and other family boys do. And they love me, thank you military boy. instantly I had goose bumps as the guys face turned to almost emotion. Im so very proud of her kind heart and the happiness that she spreads. Makina and Miley are not just my daughters after tonight I have realized they are most definitely my inspiration to being a better person. So in honor of memorial day, thank you to all service men and women for all you do. Past present and future, from my family to all of yours.
