Ok ... that took a little doing but here we have our weekly update. Another massive total of 1,412 poppies collected this week including a huge bunch from the Waverley Patchworkers where I had a little chat with the ladies last night ... so that takes our running total to 37,191. Will we make 40,000 by the end of September? Just to let you know ... Marg and I both have our birthdays this week so poppy presents in the mail accepted. And how about 50,000 by Remembrance Day this year ... remembering that we just scraped into 5,000 for our official launch (although obviously we had been making for a little while) on Remembrance Day last year. That got me a little excited !!! Who could forget our wonderful display in the Fracture Gallery at Fed Square.
