Ok the Vow by the three unionist leaders has been hijacked by Cameron by linking it to English MPs for English. A principle I support by the way. However this can only come about if The Liberals and Labour come on board. Which lets face it aint going to happen. So what happens now? I think that there we will be fudge on more powers for Scotland a smoke filled back room deal ( I know there is no smoking but I am old fashioned that way :) Scotland will receive the absolute minimum they think they will get away with in exchange for Labour and the Liberals backing the English vote solution. However the problem with this for labour in particular is that although this may well satisfy their English voters it will enrage the Scottish vote which will leave them up shit Creek and Without the crucial Scottish Mps may never have full Westminster control. The SNP policy is The six Scottish National party MPs, who have a largely observed policy not to vote on bills which have no direct impact on Scotland, So on principal the SNP win hands down Labour are in a mess largely of their own making. For me as a political geek find it fascinating and unlike most constitutional issues will be sorted out in months rather than years. This is almost as good as the referendum debate because Yes were the underdogs for most of the campaign and now the Scottish people have the upper hand because the 45+ are going nowhere. If the unionist dont come up with Devo Max Home rule ( which if it had been on the ballot would have had even before the campaign 60 plus per cent of the vote. This is so much fun to watch lol
