Ok.... the question was in this video, how did we get here? God - TopicsExpress

Ok.... the question was in this video, how did we get here? God created the earth and all that is in it. God also created us, man and woman. God also gave us, humans dominion over the animals (we were never an animal, although we do at times act like animals) Here is where I begin to agree with the video.... We, as the ones God gave the right, the authority to rule the earth and to do with it as we please have a responsibility to be good stewards of what He has given us. Are we killing the earth.....I think not. Could we possibly be better stewards of the earth.....possibly. Are we at times a cruel and dangerous people....yes. There are some aspects of our world that, well yes, they seem very harsh. Like when the Polar Bear or Lion or Tiger or Grizzly Bear or Mountain Lion or Orca or Shark etc...etc... kill and eat us. You see life and death is part of the struggle and most of the time, its not pretty. Should we be merciful and gently and humane whenever possible? Absolutely we should. I know there are those who believe we should kill off half the population of mankind in order to make more room for the animals. Those people are delussional. I grew up on a ranch in Texas. Working with animals in every capacity taught me a few things. First, animals are reactionary. They do things out of instinct. They tend to (not always) react based on what we do or what other things occure around them. It was my experience with horses that helped me realize what it ment in the Bible when it says that man shall have dominion over the beasts. The fact that a horse will allow a person to sit on their back and make (yes, make) them work all day long carrying us around amazes me still. They certainly dont have to. But because it is instilled in them and other animals that mankind is the top. We are the alphas, we are not the strongest fastest, gifted with the best sensory ability. But we are by far the most intelligent and the most feared....because God gave that to us. And for those of you who think horses obey us because we force them to....you obviously have not ever spent much time around horses. They are 1000 to 1200lbs. They are extremely powerful and if they truly decide they are not going to do something.....Good Luck! They do eventually give into the bit and the saddle and us sitting on them....but dont be deceived, they dont HAVE to go along with it. Somehow it has been instilled in them to want to please us. To work with us. But with that comes a responsibility to all the animals under our care. We shouldnt mistreated them. We should care for them in every way possible. And when necessary to harvest them for our good, we should do it as humanely as possible. The earth and everything in it is ours to be used by us and for us!
