Ok...this is not a joke and I would like, if you please, to read this very carefully. This morning, when I came home from work, there were two police cars at my neighbors house. So, being the neighbors that we are (we are a pretty tight community), I walked over to their house, whilst the police were there, and asked what was going on... To make a long story short, we all feel there is a predator in our midst... A white, 4 door sedan (not sure of the make and model but it looked like a Ford Contour) was caught on video surveillance riding up and down our street. At least FIVE times this person and car drove by said neighbors house. We were told that the Fayetteville 911 received a phone call from a young girl around 6:20-6:30am saying that a man in a white car tried to approach her. Mind you, that I got home around 8:30-8:45am. My daughter told me and her mother when she came home this afternoon from school that a man in a white 4 door car went to talk to them at the school bus stop no more than 50 feet from my front door. Her and her girl friends ran to her girlfriends house and told their mother the same thing. This morning, when they ran from the bus stop to her house, which was at 7:10-7:15am. Now, a girl from Hope Mills has been missing for nearly two weeks. Danielle Locklear, I believe is her name. Now, I dont know what this man wanted. I particularly dont care. If he wanted my daughter, you can tell from what Ive written, she knows what to do. If you see a white 4 door sedan that what looks like a Ford Contour in Lafayette Village or in the area that you live in, in Fayetteville, NC and it LOOKS SUSPICIOUS, please, please, please call Fayetteville 911.
