Ok, this one is a tough one. For future reference, if you are stopped by any cop anywhere, put your hands on the wheel ,, 11 and 3. Never get out of the car!!!!!!!!!!!! Now , that being said, this cop screwed up and did what his training taught him. The cop shouldve told him to get back in the vehicle way before he exited his squad car! Then instruct him to do the hands on the wheel thing. When a cop stops someone and they are already out of the car before the officer is,, what would you think?? Seriously, you be the officer. The guy is out of the car, you fail to make the situation safe by forgetting to ask him to sit back in the car. You ask for his license, he reaches into the vehicle,, We have all seen suspects turn and fire. Then?? One dead cop. I am siding with the suspect on this one for sure, but I do understand why the cop did what he did. What would you have done? You being the cop?? Hopefully the suspect is ok.
