Ok this week marks the 12th year anniversary of the devastating loss of life during the 9/11 attacks. Being there when the planes struck the towers was one the most intense and horrifying experiences next to my recent experience with the attack on my sons and using my weapon to defend them. The morning of 9/11 was surreal. And I can remember it like it was just happening. I heard the roar of the jet and explosion when it hit the first Tower. By the time I was on the BQE the second plane had struck the 2nd tower. At that moment I knew it was a Terror attack and hurried the Hell out of NY. I barely got across the BQE before they shut all in and out traffic down. I sent a message over the computer to my best friend who was less than 30 miles away from The City and the fear of not really knowing what really was happening took me home in 5 hours stopping on the side if the road each moment. The entire race home I listened to the events unfold and stopped only when I got there. I watched the replays of the whole day over and over. Every year I stop whatever I am doing and salut a Flag in which I fly wherever I am at each defining moment. This yea is no different. I will stop at each moment and get out of my truck, (on the side of the highway if I have to), raise a Flag and salute for two minutes each. I will ask all to do the same and will create an event to be spread across the country. Here are the defining moments I will do this. Will you join no matter where or what you are doing?
