Ok to all our patient Team members heres our update... Good news not NMO. It is def MS. Mris showed lesion in the brain and a new one on the spine, which is causing her mobility problems. He ordered physical,therapy for,this. He also added a new MS medication to be taken three times a day to,enhance assistance with her copaxone (injection for MS) exspecially fatigue. Her vision. Is still the same with right eye but left has has improved. Not as blurry and can be improved with stronger lenses. Now the tests also found out that she has another autoimmune disease with her thyroid. So we need to,follow up with her primary for treatment on this. Also wants her to see obgyn to assist with problem areas there. Now he also feels like our girl is depressed ( idk why sarcasm) so we are waiting a psychologist appointment. He said so caring to her your young. Your vibrant you need normalcy.. I cant agree more. He said theyre are ways to,do things with adaptive equipment but first lets get u stronger. So all and all I think it was good appointment. Hopefully her new med regime assists our girl.. We go back February 23rd and for,the record we let him know we do have the best support team ever!!!
