Ok, true story. I will try to keep it short but probably cant. This is not a forum for debate. If you dont agree take it to your own wall. Someone got PISSED at me today because I tried to educate her about food and she took it like I was saying she was all wrong or I was trying to force her to be like me. I am not a nutritionist nor do I pretend to be. I dont know everything about food or why certain foods are better for you than others. I dont know what certain foods have in them that make the body function better either. I know somethings but not everything. However, I do listen to people when they speak, I do read articles, and I do ask questions when I come across someone who I feel knows their stuff. I am always eager to learn. Somethings I learn and apply to my everyday and some I dont because its not for me. I DO NOT agree with eliminating any food group. I know that some people HAVE to because their body cant handle them. They may be allergic or whatever the case may be. I understand that and those people dont apply to what Im saying. I believe in all things in moderation. I TRY to be good during the wk. (doesnt always happen) and then I allow myself to have whatever Im craving during the weekend. You will NEVER convince me that cooking meat in saturated fat is ok so long as you eliminate the carb. You will NEVER convince me that carbs are the enemy. You need to figure out the good carbs from the not so good carbs and portion all food groups out correctly. Its that simple. If that is the kind of diet you want to believe in go for it. Have fun and good luck with being healthy. I dont promote skinny. I promote healthy. If you choose to just care about being skinny then I can tell you now I am not the coach for you.
