Ok well I do agree that it was wrong that they just watched as he was getting his but whooped but I am going to say this in that the police have not supported the normal citizens stepping in to assist a officer in an event like that. Any kind of vigilante that would show up gets taken down quickly and I have seen cases where a citizen tried to help and then was arrested for interfering in a police matter. Also the police act as if they are the states personal tax collection some act so aggressive towards this that it makes the normal citizens fear even the site of an officer. So what would you expect in something like this when you cause such turmoil in the area and the state you represent gives the appearance of being so corrupt. So why would a normal citizen want to risk their own life to help an officer when they no longer even have to do the same for them. Hell only a couple months ago the supreme Court ruled that the police officers are no longer obligated to protect and serve. I am referring to the case where a man walked into a subway car and just started to stab people and two officers watched on the other side of the train cars door.
