Ok, worked last 3 nights and on call tonight. Pooped beyond belief but went outside to check on chickens and my tiny garden. Chickens were slowly roasting in their little coop ( no shade at this time of day) yikes! So I got the HUGE outdoor umbrella over them after mashing my fingers and got it up only to find that the base needed weight. Hummm? Mike helped. He put a big bag of potting soil on the base. Fresh water all around and the girls seemed to appreciate it. Watered garden, the potted plants on the porch. Went in house to get scissors to snip Basil for supper. One red headed skink, one garter snake scared the woohoo out of me! Guess they needed to drink too. Anyway, while cutting the Basil I found the tiniest frog on the leaf of the Basil. (Not scared, just fascinated) Note to self: wash Basil REAL good.
