Okay, DJs Facebook Friends and Family! Weve rolled out some exciting new menu items today...and all of you are the first to know! First off, we are now making fresh, from scratch, homemade soups daily! (Yes, we admit, even though they were really good, we were using pre-made soups) Not only that, but weve lowered the menu price on both the cup of soup and the bowl of soup...just in time for these chilly fall evenings. But, wait, theres more! Now you can choose a cup of our new homemade soups as a side to most of our entree selections...at no additional charge! In the mood for a burger, but not really in the mood for fries? Have a cup of awesome homemade soup instead! What better to pair with a BLT than a nice cup of soup! Some of our new soups are even vegetarian, just check with your server what our soup of the day selection is when you come in. Weve also added a fantastic Crispy Fish Sandwich to our lunch menu. Ever thought that our fish from our fish and chips just might make a really nice sandwich? Well, we had some requests for it, and its now on the menu! Speaking of requests...Parents, we listened (sometimes were like the kids and it takes us awhile to do it, but we get to it...eventually). We now have Two Fish Strips and a Side on our Lighter Portions Menu. So, now when you come out on Fridays for our All-You-Can-Eat Fish & Chips, the little one can now have a portion all their own (just without the reorders) Also along the Vegetarian line, as we know many of our guests request the option, we have now added a fully Vegetarian Dinner Platter! Mix and match any three of our vegetable dishes such as steamed broccoli, haricot vert green beans, cole slaw, sauteed zucchini, rice pilaf, spanish rice, southwestern fire roasated corn and black bean blend, herb roasted redskin potatoes, and more! One plate with three of your favorites for one price! Sigh...sadly, yes, we had to retire a couple items from our menu to make room for the new items. They were good items and Im sure some will miss them, but, although good food, they were just not good sellers. Our Center Cut Pork Chop Dinner has been retired, as have our Soft Tacos (dont panic! The Grilled Tacos will NEVER leave our menu). Who knows, perhaps well bring the Soft Tacos or the Pork Chop Dinner back as a special in the future... So, come on in and try these fantastic new selections! We look forward to serving you!
