Okay. For all those who are hanging onto my every word to find out what digital camera I finally bought, I got a Nikon Coolpix L28. It is low end, but I got to see it, touch it, and talk to someone who knew about it. I was going to look at the Panasonic Lumix, but as soon as I touched it alarms went off eliciting no noticeable response from the sale personnel who must have been used to that kind of thing. I looked at the Canon, the Sanyo, the Samsung, even the Polaroid and the Kodak. I saw the Nikon Coolpix 6300SL, but they had none in stock. I finally decided to go with the low-end Nikon Coolpix L28 and if I have to upgrade I can do that later. Gotta start small, I think. Thanks go to Kim Lathan, Donna Joy Johnson, Dale Hursey, and all the others who provided valuable input into this decision. You guys are great, and you have dragged me kicking and screaming into the 21st century!
