Okay, I need someone to explain this one to me: I went into the Hillcrest Kroger looking for Sriracha and hazelnut syrup. They had the hazelnut syrup, but only in the sugar-free variety (seriously!?). The Sriracha was simply not to be found (at least not in any of the places a logical, functioning brain might expect to locate it). I left the store empty handed. (Did I mention this was the Hillcrest Kroger? Okay, good... just so were clear...) On my way back to Willowhaven, I decided to stop by Harps in Haskell. Lo and behold they had normal, real hazelnut syrup, right next to the coffee stuff. I pulled a bottle from the shelf and turned around and there, mere feet away, in the ethnic foods section–of all places–sits Sriracha in the familiar red and green bottle... the one with the rooster on the label (the good one). Harps. In Haskell. How does this happen!? (We wont talk about the lemon pound cake... or the roasted pine-nut hummus and baked pita chips. How those got in my cart Im pretty sure I figured out. I still blame the Hillcrest Kroger.)
