Okay, I read the article, and Ive read about this thinning periodically in the past. These animals were introduced...they are not native. They are destroying the natural habitat and consuming the available resources of one of our most endangered species, the Prong Horn and a couple of others. Whats worse??? Managing/removing the introduced species or leaving them to destroy the area that was set aside as a national habitat or some such thing a long time ago for the few remaining Prong Horn. And its not as if they take them to a slaughter house. They put them up for adoption...I think they have an auction or something. Im not a fan of Fish and Game, but Im sure if they just left them to decimate the refuge, there would be a group of protesters about that too. In this case, you cant make everyone happy.
