Okay, I think that this is enough. On just too many occasions over the past few days I think BE has taken enough shots at Governor Perry. Yes, we can debate budget priorities, but lets not slight the Texas taxpayer that the Legislature committed to approximately $200 billion plus biennial budget. The Texas taxpayer actually over performed and once again will provide the Texas Legislature a budget surplus. Almost 2/3rds of the budget is committed to education and human services. So therefore, Governor Perry, the Texas Legislature, or for that matter, the Texas taxpayer doesnt need a Biblical scripture to escape providing provisions for the indigent.
