Okay, Ill play (per Pamela Sheena Maiasaura Tigers request). Im not assigning anything to anyone--yer on yer own! 1. I have never seen an Alfred Hitchcock film, at least not in its entirety. Ive also never seen any of the Godfather films, nor 2001: A Space Odyssey, nor Saturday Night Fever. 2. I identify myself as half Italian, half hillbilly, and half Jewish (the latter half by marriage). My dad was full Italian, the son of immigrants; my mom was from Missouri, and her heritage included Irish, English, and Kickapoo Indian, among others, and were told that Benjamin Franklin was one of our ancestors. 3. I skipped fifth grade. The experience taught me that its a mistake for kids to skip grades (a recent Mark Evanier column detailed his similar experience, and similar conclusion). 4. Except for a brief hiatus when I was in college, I have been a comic book fan continuously since 1966. 5. I once received a surprise phone call from Joey Ramone. And Joan Jett sent me an autographed copy of the issue of Goldmine magazine that included my interview with her. My wife had the two-page spread framed for me.
