Okay, Im going to go out on a bit of a limb here and share a bit of a rant... Feel free to share your views too even if you dont agree... Perhaps its just me, but I feel like nearly every time a land development proposal (area structure plan) that contains any type of commercial or industrial development is approved in this city (and perhaps its all cities; Im not trying to be inclusive here) that big promises are always made for exciting future businesses and the benefit of less strain on the residential tax base but, as soon as a developer has broken ground (or shortly thereafter) those promises are broken... What gives? For once, I would love to see a developer step forward and ask for an ASP amendment that increases the commercial or industrial side of things (or at least holds up to their original proposal). Why are amendment requests ALWAYS on the side of increased residential? Thoughts? Saylor stalbertgazette/article/20140524/SAG0801/305249984/-1/sag/concerns-sounded-over-commercial-land-reduction
