Okay, Ive been waiting a long time to post this awesome news. I have this BESTIE named Danielle Allen. She. Is. The. BOMB. If you dont know her, GET to know her. Shes one of the most positive, uplifting, amazing people Ive ever met. Danielle and I have been talking for a while about ways in which we can give back to the indie community. As a former educator, Im really big on sharing knowledge, and Danielle is one of those awesome people who supports EVERYONE. She and I are organizing a retreat for writers in 2015. I know there are a million book events already scheduled for next year, but this one will be DIFFERENT. No book signing. No cover models. No after parties. Just three days of total immersion in KNOWLEDGE. Our event is called Pay It Forward because the presenters and organizers will be donating their time, skills, and experience toward the goal of HELPING OTHER WRITERS TO BE SUCCESSFUL. Guys, we indies NEED this. We need to help each other be BETTER. Not just as writers, but as members of a wonderful community. Im so freaking excited about this opportunity to share experiences with others. Imagine the possibilities! Think about all the things we can accomplish TOGETHER!
