Okay. Mommas gotta brag. BrandonReese, 15, started teaching himself to play the piano a few months ago. Hes composed a couple of songs that hes not feeling ready to put online yet, but he played one today for one of the states top professional pianists (a neighbor). I was hoping to get some direction for where to go for lessons or mentoring, but he said we cant do lessons, because hes well past that level. He was especially floored when he learned it had been weeks, not years, of piano playing. He showed him how to use the pedal better, which took seconds for him to figure out, (nobody gets it that fast, he said) and then he told us just to let him go. He said when hes big, that will be his story, when people ask about his years of training. So I decided to post this secret recording I made yesterday, to have a record (and brag, of course) (note where I almost got caught). :) How lucky/blessed of a mom am I?
