Okay. Some real talk. I spent quite a bit on promotion during the first campaign including promoting through Facebook. Recently I tried to promote directly before I finished the Unity demo and my page with 700 or so likes hit 2000. I know who the real fans are. I know every single person that comments, likes, and shares the stuff here. So with the increased amount of fans, what the hell?! The reason why this is happening is because there is a lot of fake profiles here curdousy of Facebook stealing money from people trying to reach fans and grow. Check out this video. If you make a page and want to promote, keep this in mind. The next time I promote, I think I will use the (Only people connected through this page) option or something like that. Perhaps it will reach all of you who are real and extend to your collective networks. I really want to make this game a reality and I need to figure out how to get past this and reach as many people as possible based on a 1 guy small budget.
