Okay all my beautiful mommas out there.....creative ideas for discipline!?!?! Reid has an attitude and throws fits that I just can no longer ignore. Yelling No to me in public, not listening while doing the exact opposite of what I ask him to do and the continuous arguments (most of the time I dont argue back and forth with him, but when Im in public and he talks to me with that I dont care attitude, it embarrasses me....I dont want people to think Im raising my child that way). I feel like he just has a total lack of respect. Is he too young to expect respect?? I dont think so. We have done stern talks, friendly talks, time outs, the occasional yelling, hand slaps (not hard, but hard enough), taking things away and I threaten spankings a lot (havent gone through with them, but the threats are not helping anymore). Now remember this is a 4 year old so I dont want anything too drastic or life altering.....just something to help him learn :)
