Okay all you tech savy people. My laptop just posted a screen telling me it was infested. Not sure how cause it is not used for anything but watching movies on amd creating files...offline. Anyway....the screen says the Protection can not fix the problem and I need to call an 800 number to take care of the problem. I called and got a foreigner...saying he was level two Microsoft sercurity and started asking me questions. Name? Who pays my internet bill? How will I be paying for this repair today? Huh? Really. You have not asked me one question about my computer....he already seems to know the answers to that. But...how I am not sure since this computer was not purchased by me (daughters).... I said...I am not going to pay when they have already paid for computer protection. He said...those do not fully cover you. But for 189$ they will protect me for 3 months....or 289$ will protect me for 6 months. Seriously? I asked the man....Did you put the bug in my computer so you can charge me? He could not understand English all of a sudden. Sheeesh. Can anyone help me?
