Okay been away from cooking/baking much of November and December, so i NEVER paid attention to the oven as i may IF id been doing it every day. Was convinced to call gas company emergency leak line today when the oven was put on and went bang/poof/thud whatever u want to call it. I thought the neighbors attached to me slammed their condex door. So daughter says its been doing that for about 2 months. Well gas company just left. Said good thing we called carbon monoxide level in air is 10 and could get stronger the longer stove oven was on. They evacuate at 10 for residence. They went to the basement to check furnace hot water heater and found a small gas leak in the hw heater and fixed it for us. So YES ppl if u suspect a problem like this definitely call your gas company it can save your life. Anyway gas is shut OFF to stove and we r going to sears to get a new one tonite. Hopefully theyll be on sale or maybe go best buy to c if theyre on sale there. Or home fepot you get THE gist. Have a good and safe day guys
