Okay details have been set for April 12th! Please read and let me know if you have questions. TIME- 1k starts 10am, 5k starts 10:30am *Please arrive at least 20 minutes before your chosen race to check WHERE- Confederation Park, meet at the parking lot off of 10th St on the NW side of the street. There is parking on the East side of 10th st as well, but you will need to cross the street. There will be signs directing you and you should be able to see me and the check in table from the parking lot. WHO - Please RSVP here or email me at kyratarbell@gmail if you are planning on coming so I have enough food and such. There will be a place to store your bags if need be and the advantage of loops is that anyone who wants to come watch will be able to cheer people on throughout the race. ROUTE- The entire race will be ran within the park/cemetery. There will be signs telling you when to turn around or which way to go throughout the course. This time it will be a true 5k. *The pathway is stroller, bike and dog friendly. ETC- This is a free event. It is also weather dependent, if the weather is really wet or icy we will not be holding the event, you will be contacted the morning of. AFTER- If the weather is nice, we encourage folks to stick around after the run to eat and hang out. Please bring your own picnic, blanket and any games or sports equipment. We did this last year and it was great, very easy going. (There will not be any additional food provided besides the refreshments for the runners)
