Okay everybodys been kind & emailing me and I thank you all for such concern. Sorry to cancel all those gigs too! Here is the official story: I went to Blue Mt. On Sunday. I went OFF TRAIL into the tree glades and was carving away & having fun slaloming. I got in to deep and hit some ice and fell- slide 7-10 yards & hit a tree on the side of my rib cage & back ( mid ancillary posterior intercostal muscles for medical folk). That mishap was at 2:30 and I finally went to the ER at 11:30pm that night. I am okay , no cracked ribs just busted pride & foolishness. I mustve watched to much Olympic Bordercross. Guess its time for me to take up checkers & shuffle board. (PS- The course of treatment is painkillers and another x-ray next week to see if any hairline cracks calcified up.) Okay no more Sonny Bono jokes...lol
