Okay everyone... For those of you who saw my earlier post about not embodying a companies image for being decidedly feminine and curvy.. I spoke to the owner of the company a little bit ago and everything is officially sorted out. The person who I spoke to was new and obviously uneducated of the community she is dealing with. She misspoke and everything has been made right. I know that she was talked to and informed on the issue at hand and the proper way to address people. While I do not agree with the emails that were sent to me, I also know that there are many uneducated individuals out there and I am all for passing knowledge and forgiveness. The company does not agree with what was said and it is being made right. I do support this company and what they are about. I think that their mission statement and their support for our community is something that we should stand behind. After my conversation with the owner I am feeling much better about the situation. I was not only apologized to and ensured the situation was addressed but I am also going to be participating this weekend at GRRRL Scout now. I cannot express enough my gratitude for those of you who stood behind me and especially to those of you who spoke out to help make this situation right and to make sure our voices are heard! I think that the topic at hand needed to be addressed to prevent this from happening to other people. I am asking you now to help me support this company as I do truly believe in what they stand for. Please go through and like the Saint Harridan page. Especially if you made the decision to unlike it on my behalf. They do deserve the chance to offer something wonderful to our community :)
