Okay folks - are you ready to hear something nice that happened? I had a guy named Francois who I hired to shovel my snow. Turns out hes a handyman, so he was here yesterday/today, adding special locks on doors, ensuring my windows couldnt be opened, etc. He also assured me he could be here in a flash, if ever I had an emergency,, Seems like a really nice person. Anyhow, he just wrapped things up, turned around and asked me what I was doing for Christmas eve...he offered to bring over food and wine for the two of us. If some guy can take a look at me, with tear-stained eyes and a disheveled, sad appearance, well...it was a wonderful thing, indeed.
