Okay folks, as a very interesting recent turn of events has happened in life. I am planning on leaving much sooner... potentially in 10 days. The last 3 days I went for some long walks in preparation and reflection. I gained some insight that I would like to share -- First, I will be asking everyone I run into 3 questions amongst many more. Here they are if you are interested in some personal introspection. Random Questions to ask random people in random places -- What do you fear and why? Do you think you can get over those fears? What was one of the scariest moments in your life and how did you end up getting through it? Do you believe World Peace to be something humanity can ever get to experience or we always going to be destined for war? When you hear the word meditation, what comes to mind, what you think it means to meditate? Do you think there’s ever a time in life to be serious, when and why? Do you think our political parties are corrupt? What gives you that impression? What do you think it means to live through the heart? How would you define ‘Mind.’ What’s the best advice you’ve ever received? Why do you think humanity suffers? Do you think it’s possible for a human to be free of suffering? When do we begin to develop fear and for what reason? How would you define love? How would you define the divine masculine and the divine feminine? Do you believe what you think, say and do matters in the grand scheme of things? Do you think institutions are good for people? Why? Do you think religion is good for people? Why? How would you define the difference between belief and faith? Could you explain what emotional, mental and spiritual maturity means and how they interrelate. What causes humans to perceive they are somehow separate entities from life? What causes war? Do you think it’s possible to live without fear? Do you think one religion is more right than another? (I will come up with more questions as time goes on, if you have ideas share them!) Secondly. I decided it would be important to take some vows to keep my mind and heart centered and straight. They are as follows. Vows of the walk -- 1.) At any point on the walk I will offer myself to be of service for the good of all people and the environment. Even if it’s as small as picking up a piece of trash and throwing it away when no one is looking. 2.) I will ask everyone who I engage in conversation with three of many questions I have written down about life, love, peace, fear, suffering, death and world concerns. These answers will be compiled on a website and FB page -- Voices of Humanity. 3.) I will attempt to make anyone I meet with smile, laugh, sing, dance, go a little silly or deeply reflect. If none of the above happen, they will certainly be confused. One thing is for sure, they will not forget our interaction. 4.) I will accept food and shelter if it is offered. I will not ask for these things. I will not carry money. I will trust that if I hold to my mission of service my basic necessities will be taken care of. 5.) I will not intentionally cause harm to any living thing. I will only speak if it is empowering and up lifting. I will choose to only see the divine nature in all people and respect them accordingly. Im letting go and trusting. Its time. I had a powerful conversation today with my association with the military. I told them where my heart lies and that I will not comply if it does not fit with the parameters of my intention. They told me not to mess up my future. I told them Im not interested in the future, this moment will be just fine. (for the record, the military thing is working out much smoother than I suspected so dont freak out please) This is happening people. Im going to make a splash with this walk. Bring your hearts, bring your support. Bring your love. Please support the FB page! Its up! :):):) Joe
