Okay guys, Im going to start doing that I call Debate Day. We used to do this in my Honors Government class in high school, and I thought it was a really good way to get to know each other, and what we stand for. Whats going to happen is that Im going to choose a topic, and sometimes it will be very controversial. Youre going to state your view on the matter, as am I. All I ask is that you keep the conversation respectful and dont denigrate another persons view simply because it differs from yours. Try and keep an open mind, as well, because you never know when someone will make a point that might alter your view on a subject. I know we have some Libertarians here, some Conservatives, fence-sitters, etc. If you ask someone a question, keep it civil and respectful. Trolls, as always, will not be tolerated. Im currently working on the pictures that are going to go with each topic that Ive come up with so far, so it will take a second to get started. Feel free to invite your friends to join the conversation; the more the better! And remember: Were all on the same side here. Just because you may not agree with someone on a small matter, doesnt mean they have to become your enemy. Were all here because we hate the direction in which our country is headed.
