Okay guys, Philly Dill here, I never really post my opinion on here but here it goes. The Phillies stink. As much as I would love to see the Phillies veterans stick around and retire here, I would rather see the Phillies have a future, instead of a lack of. Here are my ideas: Jimmy Rollins to San Diego for a couple of Double-A prospects and cash. They certainly have the cap space available, and could use a veteran, solid bat at short. And being that they arent THAT far out of the division race, Jimmy could do them wonders in a wild card situation. Ryan Howard to Baltimore for Chris Davis and a Lower-A prospect. Baltimore is leading their division, Davis has had a dreadful season, and if they want a power threat heading into the playoffs, Ryan is their guy. Baltimore has money to spend, and Ryan could prove to be a formidable opponent in the AL East. Cliff Lee to Colorado for two Double-A prospects and a Triple-A prospect. Colorado has the highest ERA in the majors, no thanks to the altitude. A strikeout master such as Cliff Lee would be a drastic improvement for a team notorious for implementing the four-man-rotation, and a ballpark notorious for long balls. Colorado also, has money to spend, and if they want to compete in a tough NL West, they will need to lower that era about two points. Burnett to Pittsburgh (again) for a Triple-A prospect. The Pirates are red hot, and they are far from struggling financially with one of the lowest pay rolls in the MLB. He worked wonders with them in prior years, and they have shown tons of interest in him (along with others) as of recently. Certainly a good addition for a middle-of-the-road pitching staff in a heated division race. Dominic Brown to Chicago White Sox for a Double-A prospect. Being that Chicago is only 5 games under .500, and 8.5 games out, Dominic might be a good addition to their outfield. Who knows, maybe Dominic will work wonders against AL pitchers, considering he is actually hitting better (believe it) than De Aza currently. Again, another team with money to spend. But God knows with such an idiot running this club, they wouldnt dream of making such remarkable roster changes.
