Okay, here is one Asian inspired recipe. It calls for Morin, which you will need to look in the stores isles where they sell the soy sauce and other Japanese or Chinese foods. There you can also find the hot chili sauce called Sriracha. Although I would advise adding 1/2 tsp to start of this sauce and tasting to Dee if you want to add the other 1/2 tsp ad it is a VERY hot/ spicy sauce. But this is a delicious chicken dish to make! 5 Spice Chicken and Orange Dish 1 lb boneless/skinless chicken breast, cubed or thin sliced 2 eggs, beaten 2 stalks green onion, chopped finely 1 garlic clove, minced 4 cups cooked rice, ( see rice box to measure and cook) 1 cup orange juice 1 cup + 1 tablespoon corn starch 3 tablespoons soy sauce, low sodium 3 tablespoons cooking oil 2 tablespoons brown sugar 2 tablespoons mirin 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, optional 1 teaspoon hot chili sauce such as Sriracha 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger 1. Place cup of cornstarch into sealable baggie or bowl. Drop chicken pieces into baggie and shake well to coat chicken in small groups. Place then into bowl with beaten eggs and stir gently to coat. 2. Place chicken into skillet with coking oil heated over medium high heat. Cook til golden brown. 3. While chicken cooks, place in saucepan over medium high heat, orange juice, soy sauce, mirin, ginger, garlic, brown sugar, hot sauce and tablespoon of cornstarch. Bring to simmering boil and reduce heat to medium. Let simmer for 10 minutes til smooth and slightly thickened, (Rice should also be cooking at this time). 4. Pour sauce onto cooked chicken and cook for additional 5 minutes. 5. Plate rice, spoon chicken and sauce on top. Sprinkle with green onion and sesame seeds and serve. Tips: Can use pre breaded popcorn chicken nuggets instead. Add a bit more flavor by adding some mandarin orange slices to the sauce .
