Okay, heres another question of mine. Everyone knows technology has advanced...but, in the movies, it stands still in time. For example, take the steadfast and ubiquitous telephone. It had been around for all of Hollywoods films in relatively the same design (cord - handle - cord some more - base) until fairly recently. Can you name some films of yesteryear which would be totally different, and implausible, if done today? (It could be any other type of technology, not necessarily the phone. But...lets not get too silly and have someone with a GPS in The Ten Commandments or anything.) (Im asking everyone if they can be as vague with an ending as they can be on this one...because endings and plot twists might rely on whatever this technology is...but, that being said, this thread may contain spoilers, so approach with caution.)
