Okay i never thought i would have to do this but heres my facebook rant....im so tired of hearing people say that us soldiers are just too stupid to go to college or we are mooching off the government...for starters alot of people join up because they cant afford college but still have the ambition to do something great with themselves instead of having their parents pay their way through college...and second if you want to open your mouth and say we are just too stupid to go to college come do this then.e live this lifestyle day to day and do my job as an air traffic controller and tell me how ya feel after that...did you know this job is one of the most challenging and stressful jobs in the world that requires actual intelligence other than boom boom pew pew? And unrealistic kids nowadays who are in college who just party all the damn time talk about oh im so homesick, i cant wait to pack up and go home for the weekend ....i wish i could just go home for the weekend! We get sent to places all over the world for long periods of time without being able to just go home..granted yes i love being in Korea i love the culture and atmosphere but i get actual homesick all the time...so next time you want to say that our job isnt hard or were just to stupid to go to college just imagine if all of us soldiers just left to go to college to be some phsycologist or buisness administrator...see who protects your freedom to be able to say some ignorant stuff like that again then....done ranting lol
