Okay ladies & gents...as we ALL know, CATSPAW is probably one of (if not the) most disliked of Legionnaires past and present...SO I decided (with inspiration from our own Alexander Demostenes Ramirez) to give her a DECENT origin and back story so....herrrrrrres the NEW Catspaw!! CATSPAW Real Name: April Jiwe-Dumaka Homeworld: Earth Powers: Can tap into the fabled animorphic grid and assume the powers of any animal/creature real or mythical through the Tatu Totem. Origin: April was born on Earth to Ambassador of Africa, Kwame Dumaka and socialite-turned-politician MBali Jiwe. April was raised in the Sergengetti Plain of Africa and was taught by her parents to respect and conserve all animal life. Her life seemed idyllic, except April was bored accompanying her parents to other worlds and wanted excitement. Her wish was about to come true but at a heavy cost. En route back to Earth, the Dumakas ship was attack by Dominion scout fleet to start a secret invasion of Earth. Her father was killed instantly but MBali gave April the fabled Tatu Totem which had been in their family for generations and instructed her to use it for her escape. Her last words to April were CLOSE YOUR EYES AND OPEN YOUR MIND April escaped but was later captured by the Dominators who decided they were going to use her in their genetic experiments. While April was in captivity she befriended a young man known as Anasis and it was while he was being tortured did she used the Totems power to help them escape. After their escape, the duo headed to Earth to warn the Legion. After the defeat of the Dominators invasion, April was offered provisional membership into the Legion but was hestitant because of the ban on artifical powers and devices however the Tatu Totem has absorbed itself into her skin. April fell in love with Anasis who has since decided to help former Dominion captives return to their lives. April has a party-girl, boy crazy attitude at times but she is very adventureous and the thrill of being a Legionnaire is the chance of a lifetime.
