Okay, lets go over this. There are a lot of people out there tonight who are in disbelief that Robin Williams has died. Yes, it is a tragic event, thats for sure..Why isnt there an outpouring of disbelief for the young man who was shot to death by a police officer in the streets of St. Louis? Thats right, because no one knew him and he wasnt on TV. Isnt it amazing that we feel so close to someone that we didnt know? Had absolutely zero idea as to who they are/were! Yet, I am sure that there are some of you who may have even shed a tear because of this loss This goes to show you what diseases do to people. I dont know this but have read that he has been battling depression. You ask, how can he be depressed? He has everything. Thats the appearance from what you see on the outside. See, we as a society, thats how we determine someones worth is what we see on the outside. Whether it be looks, house you live in, car you drive or clothes you wear. Everything is based on looks. I just had this very conversation with the bestie last night over dinner. I agree, we must have some sort of attraction to what we are looking at before we give it a second though. What if we did give it a second look to see what we may be missing? How many things would be different? Hard to say. I know about these demons and diseases that appear to have driven Robin Williams to take his life. The signs were most likely there, the symptoms were most likely there and just like always, they were judged from the surface and never addressed. I fight gambling, eating and depression myself on a daily basis. I weighed 585 almost 13 years ago, now I weigh 410. seems like a lot lost but it still isnt enough. I get looked at funny, people shy away from me, I have to have two seats when I fly unless I fly spirit there are so many things that I go through that the general public has ZERO idea about. They say that they understand but they have never lived my life, just like I have never lived theirs. When someone that you care about and love says something that doesnt quite register as being right, PAY ATTENTION. Dont say that you are too busy, take the time to listen, ask questions, find out whats really going on. Just because society has told us we need to make judgments by what we see doesnt mean its the right thing to do. Tell those that you love that you love them and take the extra time to share it with them often, as you never know when you will take your last breath. I love you all!
