Okay people lets calm down. I now see what Fish and Les are doing. Strategy is Fisher and Les are building a team from scratch as well as developing their cap room by bowing out of FA and pull the trigger in the Draft. By doing that, you spend less money as well as acquire younger talent. That way they wont have to worry about players getting too old and retiring on them for years and since the salary cap is increasing gradually every year, our cap room will swell because mostly all of our players will still be in there rookie contracts which gives us the advantage. You see, rebuilding is not just about finding new and better players but altering your situation in every aspect so you can be in the right position to make moves whenever you feel like it.
