Okay, so 52 years ago yesterday, I stumbled into the greatest profession and am I glad I did. I have not always liked my working environment but have always loved my job. Histology is a fantastic way to make a living, even though it has been deemed the most hazardous to your health by some, it gives me great satisfaction to know that I am helping patients by performing it best I can. I have been very fortunate to have great Pathologists to guide me and teach me more about my job to make it more gratifying. Some ask when will I retire, my response, not thinking about it, love it, and as long as I can perform my duties well, I will continue. Also I have recently become an Independent Beauty Consultant for Mary Kay and love that too. So we will see how long I can do that job. I always like to have a back up plan but will keep it down to just 2 jobs this time. Did 3 some years ago and I dont recommend it. Puts you into a higher tax bracket. I will celebrated my anniversary with my daughter, Amanda Knowles and my grandson, Chase last night. Wish all my kids could have beem here with me, Craig, Ty and Danielle, oh and Dooley too.
