Okay, so I was introduced to Vocaloid about 2 years ago and have watched a lot of MMDs on Youtube since then (Vocaloid and non-Vocaloid related, naturally). I think I may be interested in trying a few vids myself later this year. So tips for a newbie/MMD beginner? -Whats the best computer to download on: Mac, PC, or it doesnt matter. If PC, old or new? (Im thinking of using an old, old Windows 97 because I dont want to do anything on my work/business related Windows. If not that, then on an old Gateway/Windows XP laptop I have. Is any system compatible)? -Any problems with downloads? Are virus risks high or is the program pretty safe? Best site to download from? -Is it easy to learn or does it take a LOT of time -Is it harder to fashion your own, original models? -How does downloading pre-made models work? Do you have to be registered with a site for access to pre-made models? Sorry for all the questions! But I want to kind of make sure I know what Im getting into before trying anything. Looking for answers from experience in general, not necessarily in the order I asked questions. .....and gomen-nasi for the lengthy post! I tend to type a lot. ^^. Oh!!
