Dear Spady Families, Congratulations to all of you on an exceptional opening day. We had 628 students entering Spady today with their Spady spirits and smiles…what a sight to see! Just a few important reminders as we move forward. Campus opens at 7:30 am and breakfast is free to all students. 7:45 the bell rings and students are permitted to go to their classrooms and view the program” Read between the lions” , a PBS educational program that helps with reading and vocabulary. We encourage all students to be to school on time. If you are not in your seat by 8 you are late. We will have an open campus until Wednesday allowing parents to walk students to classrooms. As of Thursday morning you must be a registered volunteer and sign in to walk your student to class. Please help us during Parent pick up. Teachers and safety patrols are working hard to keep the line moving and get your students to you safely and efficiently. You can help Mrs. Vollman by holding up your green sign so that she can clearly see the student name and Teacher name. Encourage your student to listen carefully for their name called and watch the teachers as they ask you to move forward in the car line. Once you have loaded the car you may pull out to the left and drive away being careful of the other cars around you. If you need to buckle a student into a car seat please pull forward to the palm trees near the exit and take your time. We look forward to a fun educational year with all of you. Mrs. Tata
