Okay so TMI, but as I sit here in the bathroom at work... Theres a couple of girls in here gossiping about how retarded people are becoming now because they dont know nothin, cause of google.... Basis of her argument: thanks to being able to look everything up on google, were all stupid. Whats gonna happen when all the computers crash and we dont have google? Aint nobody gonna know nothin. Okay first of all, referring to people who have a lack of knowledge doesnt make them retarded, it makes them ignorant. NOT THE SAME DEFINITION. Second of all, you do reSEARCH on a SEARCH engine to gain knowledge. Thats the point of google... To find information you dont know or are unsure of. Using convenient technology does not make you stupid. If, of course, you research information and dont retain that information just learned... Maybe it makes it a little pointless in the gaining knowledge department. Anyways, point being, people should just not open their mouths if they are going to one, disrespect people by using the term retarded and two, complain about something that doesnt make a bit of sense. Cmon now people.
